Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) recently issued an administrative order permitting the first-ever maritime transport of state-legal cannabis, reported the Martha’s Vineyard Times.

The shop was previously temporarily closed starting in May as Geoff Rose, owner of Island Time, wasn't able to get or grow cannabis, considering the transportation of cannabis over federal and state water or by plane is restricted by law. Rose, then sued the state regulator to allow it to transport the products from the mainland to the Island.
