This new chipset is built on a 3nm process, promising better thermal management and battery efficiency, resulting in a 15% increase in CPU speed and a 20% improvement in GPU tasks.

The iPhone 16 Pro also comes with a significant improvement in hardware-accelerated ray tracing, which is now twice as fast. Apple Intelligence will be offered in beta on all iPhone 16 models, as well as the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, with Siri and device language set to U.S. English, as part of an iOS 18 update this fall.
